Mainland Shiftania Transfer of Sovereignty Act, 2022

An Act to transfer the territory known as "Mainland Shiftania" from the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics to Anatoli, and to guarantee freedoms of its residents.

Preamble

Whereas the Government of Anatoli and the former Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics have agreed to a transfer of the territory known as Mainland Shiftania

Be it declared and enacted by the Parliament of Anatoli as follows.

I. Transfer of Sovereignty

  1. The territory of “Mainland Shiftania” shall be transferred to the Government of Anatoli beginning on the twenty first hour on the tenth day of September in the year of our Lord, twenty twenty two.
  2. The Territory shall become a new city within Anatoli, to be named following the passage of the Anatoli Act, 2022.

II. Permanent Residency and Citizenship

  1. Spent
  2. Every citizen of the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics residing within the Territory holds the right to declare citizenship within the Soviet Confederation within thirty (30) days of the passage of this Act.
    1. Such persons shall immediately and irrevocably renounce their permanent resident status within Anatoli.
  3. Any citizen of the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics residing within the Territory that has not declared citizenship within the Soviet Confederation after thirty (30) days of the passage of this Act will become a citizen of Anatoli, subject to one of the following conditions.
    1. The Person will have become stateless after the transfer of sovereignty
    2. Any Person born after the transfer of sovereignty will have become stateless

Schedule “A”, Spent Articles

The following articles have been spent and as such has no further legal effect.

  1. All citizens of the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics shall hold the right to reside and work within Anatoli, to hold an Anatoli passport, and to receive consular assistance by Anatoli.
    1. Such Persons shall be considered permanent residents of Anatoli.
